Wow. What an interesting Monday here in Indiana. Woke up to rain and now the sun is peeking out from behind the clouds. It's amazing how quickly the weather and day can change at the drop of a hat.
Rainy Mondays are perfect for daydreaming. Did you know that? Well... now you do. Some people view daydreams as a waste of time. I say that every dream starts as a daydream. You think about where you'd like to be. What's you'd rather be doing than sitting behind a desk staring out a large pair of windows into a back yard where your garden will be and where your Siberian Husky digs trenches in the yard trying to catch the mole that torments her.
Daydreaming for just long enough to notice the one purple bearded iris that is starting to open up. The yellow dandelions dotting the dark green grass like a field of wildflowers. (Grrr!) And watching the squirrels perform their high wire tricks on the electrical line with more grace and ease than the tight rope walkers at the circus. It's been an interesting and active afternoon in our back yard today.

I miss you my Beasty. :( |
I've been trying to write today but it's not working as well as I would like. So, I have to get back to it.
I'll see you tomorrow... or you'll see me. I'm not really sure how that works yet.
*hugs*
Lanie
So the weather is Eerie in Indiana...lol...if you didn't get that reference might not be as funny, but yeah it was quite weird here today too. Maybe it's just weird all over, who knows.
ReplyDeleteLanie,
ReplyDeleteWow! Mamas & Papas really takes me back to being a kid and listening to my parent's records. Great post. I daydream sometimes as well :-)
Chris :-)
