I've been playing all week with the catalinas that Kroger has been offering and having a lot of fun with it. The trip that I did on Monday generated 3, $5.00 off your next order catalinas and I paid a bit over $14.00 out of my pocket. This trip was even MORE fun because I only paid $9.42, received $15.00 back in more catalinas, saved 80% on this order and now have 526 fuel points which means I'll get 50 cents off per gallon even if I don't return to Kroger for the rest of the month. Like THAT'S going to happen!
I have one more trip set up for tomorrow that will hopefully be ZERO out of pocket and will still generate a couple of more catalinas so I can use them on the next sale.
Here's what I got:
8 boxes of Betty Crocker potatoes. On sale 10 for $10.00. Used 4 different $0.50/2 coupons and paid $0.50 per box.
2 boxes of fruit snacks. On sale 2 for $4.00. Used 1 $0.50/2 coupon and paid $1.50 per box.

2 Marchan Yokisoba Ramen Noodle dinners. On sale for $1.09 each. Used 2 $0.50/1 coupons and paid $0.09 each.
2 Old El Paso soft tortillas and 1 can Old El Paso refried beans. On sale for $1.25 each. Used 1 $0.60/3 and paid $1.05 each.
2 packages of Pillsbury cookies. On sale 2 for $5.00. Used $1/2 from coupons.com and paid $2.00 each. There is a mail in offer for free pizza rolls on some of these packs. I'll let you know what happens with that. :)
2 Youplait Simplait Yougurt cups. $0.90 each regular price. Used 2, $0.30/1 and paid $0.30 each.
2 cans of Pillsbury crescent rolls. On sale for $1.00 each. Used 1, $0.40/2 coupon and paid $0.60 each.
1 Country Crock. On sale for $1.50. No coupon.
1, 3 pound bag of onions. On sale for $1.79. No coupon.
2 packages of Simple Truth Chicken Drumsticks. Both on Manager's Special. One pack was 1.53 pounds, $2.66 and the other 1.41 pounds and was $2.45. Used 1, $1/1 Simple Truth Organic Chicken and paid $4.11 for both packs.
My total before coupons and card was $48.63. I also used my 3, $5.00 off your next order catalinas that I received on Monday to only pay $9.42 for all of this at the register. I also received another 3, $5.00 off your next order catalinas to use on my next shopping trip... which will actually be tomorrow.
I had a couple of people ask me what items I bought that were generating the catalinas.
In this order the potatoes, refried beans, soft tortillas, cookies and fruit snacks combined to generate 3 more catalinas. The deal is for every 5 of those (and other items are included too) items will give you one $5.00 off catalina.
This sale only runs through Wednesday but I have a sneaking suspicion that there's another great catalina sale coming up again in the next week or two.
